THE FOOD

At Malabar we favor quality and fresh cuisine. We are concerned about the environment and the traceability of our products. 

We offer authentic, strong-flavoured dishes that are healthy and representative of our beautiful region. 

You will find colourful dishes for all tastes: meat lovers, vegetarians, vegans are all welcome. 

 

Proud of his region, the chef is also inspired by the southwest of France and highlights the duck in various forms. 

 

We also support our local producers. We partnered with Passiona Pates to offer you fresh ravioli every day  (on our menu you can find stuffings like goat-cheese/ratatouille, ricotta-cheese/basil, olives, mushroom/foie gras and many more...)

THE LOCATION

Saint-Paul de Vence is a historic village that is visited all year round, it is known for its small cobbled streets and its fountains typical of the Provence. Situated on the remparts, our outdoor terrace has a panoramic view of the French Riviera with a sea view on the left (Villeneuve Loubet plage to the Cap d'Antibes) and a mountain view on the right (Col de Vence). 

The interior is a village house (originally a farm house) with original ceiling (from to the seventeenth century!). It has an old architecture mixed with  a cozy and contemporary decoration.

A color palette reminiscent of Provence with sage green tones and many flowers.

THE SPIRIT

Our team

Malabar is a family business based in Saint-Paul since 1991. Having travelled a lot in Asia, we take inspiration from those rich experiences in our design and in some dishes of the day. 

The name Malabar comes from a South-West region in India covering the Kerala with the districts of Kanyakumari, Tulu Nadu & Kodagu. 

The chef is self-taught and works hard everyday to make your experience pleasant with a cuisine full of passion. 

We speak english, dutch, german.
